VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

OPEN OPPORTUNITIES

In-person Workshop and Event Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with in-person programming in Victoria, BC!

What does a Workshop Volunteer do?

We need volunteers who can work with us in the classroom to deliver our programs. Volunteer ‘shifts’ are typically during weekdays (Monday to Friday) and are 8:30-12:30, and 12:30-2:45. (You can choose how much to volunteer by selecting your own shifts on our calendar! We’ll provide access after your successful application.)

We’ll provide support and training – you provide the enthusiasm and guidance to young writers as they create fabulous stories!  Volunteers typically work one-on-one with multiple youth during a workshop, assisting with story creation or scribing stories for youth.
