Guild of Young Writers
The Guild of Young Writers is a growing online community for teen writers (aged 12-17), built to help you develop your creative writing skills and connect with your fellow writers!
In 2026, every month we’ll focus on a different writing theme or tool. Here’s what you can expect from the Guild:
Monthly online writing workshop on the second Friday of every month (4 pm – 5:30 pm PT)
Access to our ‘Writer’s Room’ through Google Classroom
Monthly creative writing prompts and resources for our writing theme/tool
Spring / winter blue pencil sessions with author mentors
Publication opportunity in our annual Zine release and our year-end online showcase
Volunteer opportunities with Story Studio (for our YYJ programs)
