Hosted by CBC Radio’s Gregor Craigie, this event will feature a live discussion and reading with Michael Christie, local author of the international bestselling novel Greenwood.  Come share your passion for stories at the stylish Kwench, where you will also hear engaging stories from emerging young writers on the theme of climate change, sample delicious desserts  and bid on an exciting array of silent auction items. 
 
All funds raised during the evening will support the work of Story Studio, an award-winning Victoria-based charity that exists to inspire, educate and empower young writers through storytelling.

Join us at Russell Books on for a one-hour program designed to inspire, educate, and empower kids (and their parents)  through the magic of storytelling! 

With your child, you’ll imagine the creatures that dwell among the bookshelves of Russell Books, and unleash your creativity as you help bring them to life through writing.

Participants will receive a fun activity booklet/writing journal to take home, ensuring the adventure continues long after the workshop ends. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to spark your child’s love for storytelling.
